Re: Floating World

1. Is there water (or a close analog) in this world? If so, what is its chemical composition (i.e. is it an element, is it composed of analogs of hydrogen and oxygen)? If not, how does life work here? 2. Are there analogs of proteins in this world? If so, what are they composed of and how do they i...

Re: Floating World

Yes. Think of it as an asteroid belt with atmosphere. Only every solid object produces earth strength gravity 1/3 the object's diamater beyond the surface (kind of like wifi it just stops). This gravity is neutralized in the presents of a larger object then it acts like a normal objects on Earth. I ...

Re: Project Idea: Rosetta Stone

Try this: A being said to another being, "We both exist, and this is the world." It has potential for complexity, as it involves quoted speech (different languages handle this differently, and epistemically/evidentially ambiguous statement (a challenge for those who have evidential system...

Re: Floating World

The whole of space in this world is filled with air at 1 Earth atmosphere. There is no empty space for it to go into. I thought I was clear, sorry. Water turns to clouds (oops collection without gravity) clouds hit odjects forming dew, heavy dew could water plants. Animals would lick rocks. Humans c...
