Re: Guide to Sound Changes
Hi guys. Finally, someone apprechiates the work put into this [:P] . Unfortunately, I don't see me continiuing this guide because the topic is pretty much off my head since I wrote the last lines of this guide. I would love to see it continued by someone else though. I could try to continue where th...

Re: Talking drums conlang: Chiranyi
Could you describe how the language is "spoken" on the drum in more detail? I'd be most interested in it.

Re: What to take into account when creating a cnlang spoken
I follow the same approach as described in the OP. For me, I figured some basic "rules" that I try to adhere to: The conlang... ...must be pronouncable for me ...must be fairly regular, because irregularities are to arise from usage rather than from creative tinkering and regular forms are...

Re: a big undertaking
Well, I can image that some others besides me are willing to discuss conworlding methodology, i.e. the theory of conworlding. But when it comes to creating actual material you are quite demanding. I rarely manage to work on my own material, so it's very hard for me to make material for you when I co...

Re: a big undertaking
Actually that sounded quite intelligible. I totally got your point and I see the problem. The thing ist that you ask quite much from us here - but there are a few people on this board who are creative and have some knowledge in computer science which is certainly helpful here. I happen to be one of ...

Re: a big undertaking
I think this is highly interesting! I can totally see your point and understand your wish to organise your creative output in an accessible and systematic way. Just some quick thoughts on that: I think that a classification system may hinder creativitiy if it is too rigid. Even a diverse classificat...

Re: Metal Thread
I'm currently in love with this video: Math Metal Meshuggah - I am Colossus it just goes so nicely with the music and the lyrics. I used to listen to much more metal music, but nowadays I tend torwards many different kinds of electronic music. As for power metal, I'd like to add this. I'm not really...

Re: Pharos (Phare) - My Conlang
Hey Blackscreen, some good work in there. Actually, it's the only recent conlang on the board that really caught my interest. Just from the quick glance at the new stuff: Is "He" oki or oshi ? You used both forms in the document. I guess that Oshi is an old form you recently changed? [:D]

Re: (L&N) Q&A Thread - Quick questions go here
I wondered whether there are natlangs without pronouns. That means, there may be person & number agreement on the verb, but no actual pronoun word class. I once heard that Japanese technically has no pronouns. Is there neatly compiled information on that somewhere you know? Also, can you think o...

Do these moods fit this distinction?
I wondered if there was a more accurate description of this or if I should even come up with my own glosses for comprehensibility.

Re: Hoavi: Fun with animacy and inversion
Why are your verb clitics clitics? Could you provide examples were they act as such? Because, if I'm correct, you examples all attach the clitic to the verb stem and nowhere else.

Also, man soll hier auf Deutsch aktiv sein können, ohne sich fühlen zu müssen, dass man in irgendeinem &qu...
