Re: Con-Script Development Centre
My suggestion is to make a font with 100 characters. Time-consuming, sure, but not impossible by any means. What's the difference between the two versions of each character? Yeah, that seems like the best course of action here. The difference is basically just an added line somewhere. It's the &quo...

Rough sketch of a syllabic alphabet for Hypu:
Planning to make this into the font, but having 100 different characters makes that.... difficult. Any suggestions?

Re: What did you accomplish today?
Updated the pronominal cases of Hypu, of which there are now five (accusative, nominative, ergative, reflexive, and reciprocal; reflexive also indicating possession), as well as putting together a proper interrogative setup, a simple future tense, and fully documenting the relative clause morphology...

Animal Sounds in IPA?
A funny conversation happened on a CWS thread that lead to someone posting an approximation for a sheep noise in IPA:
/bæ̰::ʔ/ or /bæ̃::ʔ/
It made me wonder what other non-human sounds could be approximated with IPA notation...
Any ideas?

Re: Pili (Pilit)
What is your goal with this conlang? Naturalism? Aesthetics? Something else? I think you ' r e approach to intraflection is interesting, since there are a lot of copied vowel IIUUC. Do words generally only have the same vowel in all syllables? All of the above, I suppose? And yes, words are suppose...

Phonology was too limited, couldn't build a decent vocabulary without things getting really messy and ugly.

So, this is my second conlang (I'm not counting Kapeti, the failed no-vowels conlang [:|]), with the same collaborator as before (name undisclosed until he decides to join CBB [¬.¬]). I realized that Piliti is not, in fact, ergative, but actually tripartite.

Re: Locative verbs
Bî and Pilit both just use their respective copulas, which are îbr and da, respectively.
Don't have enough of Pilit constructed yet to give any examples, though.

Re: Random phonology/phonemic inventory thread
Bî's phonology is just a subset of English currently but I have a sort of optional dialect that replaces /ɹ/, /d/, /h/, and /u/ with /ʀ/, /ɖ/, /ʔ/, and /ʉ/, repsectively.
Because it wasn't French enough :|
