The map looks a tiny bit odd, with only small lakes, you may want to add a "Caspian" or Great Lake(N.Amer) or a Rift Valley Lake (Afr)

Re: Geopgraphy questions

It looks good, but the tectonics may be confusing. I would suggest to make tectonic plates first, and then mess with it. I like the layout, but there is very little land. You may want up from 30% to 50% of the area to be land

Re: Rate my geography too : D

I don't actually know what are you talking about :f Is it about islands around these latitude and climate or of similar shape or what? Sorry for my ignorance, I'm only an amateur and I haven't had much contact with communities like this forum. It's okay, I'm new too. A Javan or Sumatran island is a...

Geography in Conworlds

I was sondering something about conworlds, and how people create it. I have a "planet" and plate tectonics and what not, and facts about the planet, but I don't know how to develop the planet. Any help here?

Re: Parallel Lexicon Sculpting

Is this thread meant to do or accomplish anything different(ly) from the other lexicon sculpting thread? If yes, what is it? If no, why is this here? Double the pleasure, double the fun? ( apologies -- US advertising reference [:$] ) Just wanting to know. Double the pleasure, double the fun Seems i...

Parallel Lexicon Sculpting

I mean for this to be a parallel to the previous lexicon sculpting thread( viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2997) . As in we do the same thing, but have different words up and other. So I guess I'll have to start this. Thanks for honestly everything.

Re: What is not universal?

I used to think /θ/ and /ð/ were very common. I also thought that all languages had "long vowels" like English's /æ ɛ ɪ ɒ ʌ/ vs. /eɪ i aɪ oʊ ju/, which I later discovered aren't really long vowels. I have to agree so much. And it causes so many problems when I actually first wrote my conl...
