Re: American English Derived Collablang!
I meant that my choices have literally been "BAD". It's self-deprecating humor. I am happy with the thread, but would like to see the fruits of our choices so far, as well as getting into the messy grammar like Nachtuil. I see no contradiction here.

Re: New Weekly Indo European Collablang
I will proclaim myself the one who asks the question for this round. May they be relevant. Hopefully, I haven't forgotten something and retcon stuff to your disdain. Something which I believe has been forgotten though is tx > tʰ, since I cannot find it in the document. 61: Ejectives. Vlürch's sugges...

Re: What do you recommend? What to do?
To begin with, the Swadesh list is popular to get that base vocabulary needed. It's also traditional for conlangers to translate the Tower of Babel from the Old Testament as well as the first article of the UDHR. But really, I think the most important thing is whether it feels like every possible co...

Re: New Weekly Indo European Collablang
I thought pretty hard to come up with something I didn't particularly care for. Plus, it would mean having vestiges of a case we've lost, unless we make the same construction with, for example, the dative. I have voted against these new cases because I believe it would be easier for a collaboration ...

Re: New Weekly Indo European Collablang
If it isn't too late to give suggestions: X . Let's develop a comitative case. Ossetic has it, and an Indo-European language could benefit from it. X2 . θs t͡ʃθs tx > t͡s ʂt͡s tx. The last one could become t͡ɕ or tʰ instead, but that isn't really hardening it. Alternatively, we could go back in time...
