In particular something accessible for the non-linguist.

Re: Twinkle, twinkle, little star
I couldn’t resist this since the word for star is used to mean shine in Uskra. It is also used as prefix to describe shiny things. But the poem doesn't really suit the language. Re: I want a tutor if your willing.
The best advice I have is to just dive in and make a conlang! Don't worry about not knowing enough. Conlanging is great way to learn about linguistics by doing . Your first conlang won't be a masterpiece, just like a first drawing won't be either. It takes time and practice. Here are some good links...

Re: Other Creativity
Great Uskra picture, Ossicone! You're a really great drawer (with mouse as much as pen/pencil/marker)! Thanks. But it certainly helps that I use a tablet to draw on the computer and not a mouse. triple-point fishing gig (the only way to fish) [+1] [tick] http://willowhavenoutdoor.com/wp-content/upl...

Another comic! I think it's probably my best drawn one.

I am slightly ashamed of the actual joke though.

No worries. If you have someone in mind for the rank you can nominate them by PMing me.
This is true for all ranks/banners.
You can PM Aszev or the other mods too. But I'm probably the one who is here most often.

Thankfully it includes the Amjati.
I'm going to start writing tomorrow. I do actually have a chapter of an Amjati story written but I want to tweak the story outline a bit from before.

Re: Other Creativity
I'd agree but I did similar drawing when I was younger based on illustrations in a Roald Dahl book.
And I do like looking at everything people post here, even if I don't always comment.
