Plurals are very simple. There is only a singular-plural distinction:

Re: Forum News discussion/feedback thread

As much as I wouldn't want the mods and everything to be flooded with questions and suggestions and feedback and everything, I imagine they were prepared in part for it considering the severity of the changes made, so I'll put all the feedback I can see in this thread so far in a nice list for them ...

Re: What did you accomplish today?

This new CBB theme is having an effect on me. It looks so new and nice and clean it made me go back to my Lang8 thread and start working on more things. Once I've finished laying out the grammar, I'll start working through making all my little grammatical words (that will takes some time what with h...

Re: Forum News discussion/feedback thread

As for the brightness, I'm wondering if this isn't just a question of habit, or perhaps what site you've just been looking at just before? The current background color for forum posts isn't brighter than say, Facebook or Wikipedia. It's a combination of that and a dislike for the bright themes. I a...

Re: Forum News discussion/feedback thread

I think with some adjustments, it could look pretty good. What I think are the immediate issues are that the spoilers don't work, and it's blindingly bright. We need a dark theme that we can swap to from the user control panel.

Indeed. I think it was you that posted the textbook draft several months ago that I only mimicked a lot with LaTeX. To be fair, it is some exceptional styling work.

Hint taken. I was originally trying to use tables for that, but it was really clunky.

Re: Language 8 (or somewhere near 8)

So, how is/was your textbook so far? (Dijo or language 8 etc) Collating all information about a conlang in one concise place is always a good thing. The textbook was and is still only in the design stage. I've planned out the contents and written a short introduction that I'll be rewriting to fit L...

Re: When beginning to make a conlang, where do you start?

Here's my process (YMMV): Make a phonology, orthography, phonotactics Pick a base word order and where on the isolating-polysynthetic line you want it Start making basic grammar Pick tenses, aspects, cases, moods etc. that you'd want to use Integrate the above features into the grammar Start coverin...

Language 8 (or somewhere near 8)

I've wanted to get back into this for a long time. I'm revisiting Dijo to give it a new coat of phonemes, mess with its grammar a bit, and turn it into something new. The original Dijo post has been buried since February, as has been my motivation to conlang, but I'm getting back into it. So, here w...

The document was made with OpenOffice, so yea a word processor. However, if you are referring to the conscript, then it's just a .ttf font file, which unfortunately might not be suitable for your alphasyllabary. Sure, you can follow this formatting style, though I might do some changes if I decide ...
