Because I'm currently writing a paper on riddles in computer games in have delved a little into the Old English riddles (Exeter Riddles book).
I want to know whether you have ever come up with any riddles or whether you think they play an important role in your conculture. May you have even some riddles in your conlangs?

In Old English culture, riddles probably served as means of transporting knowledge orally without giving the listener immediate access to the knowledge behind it. One scholar I read even proposed they were not meant to be guessed but rather were thrown at you, expected to be known - like some teachers in school demand definitions and lemmas to be learned by heart.

You mean like, "What do men stand up to do, women do sitting down, and dogs lift one leg to do?"?
Spoiler: show
(shake hands)

Or "what has two nuts and makes women fat?"?
Spoiler: show
(Almond Joy)

Or "what goes in hard and dry and comes out soft, wet, and sticky?"?
Spoiler: show
(bubble gum)
