Aaaaand there it is. Moving on...

As of yet, no conconlangs in Domhantir, although there is supposed to be some kind of widely-used trade creole that functions like an IAL. Some writers use this as a handwave for why their international characters can all speak with each other without translators, but I tend to restrict it to people who have a lot of experience with international trade.

The last few posts have made me realise that I completely misunderstood the question...

My new answer: My conworld has no conlangs as yet, and probably never will, though there may be the odd cipher of another existing language for varied purposes.

Just to clarify:

I don't see a problem with stating that conlangs are made in your world. But I don't see the point in making these...."con-con-langs" if they're just made by some nerds in a forum in your conworld. If there's something like an IAL in your world, then defining that makes sense, though, as tons of people in your conworld probably use it.

I actually had an idea that an IAL is becoming popular in Techaria, as some people view Pazmat as too historically-loaded to be useful as a Lingua Franca.

Yeah I know, but it's a snappy, catchy meme.

Also Inception was awesome

No, it's a tired and overused meme.

I have several, although all are too incomplete to write anything longer than a short phrase.

There is Teskwan, Athanic, Squalipsh and maybe one or two more that are unnamed.

I have one called Lilithian which is really for someone else's comic book, so it's not meant for my conworld, unless I have permission to use my own work for my own works... LOL (I'm sure I do, I just don't have a place for it yet)

To clarify, guys, the question is not "In your conworld, what languages are there?" It's: "In your conworld, are there people who make up their own conlangs? What are they?"

One Isenian linguist,Zireih, researched a one native language of Tlaqoi rainforest, made a cipher of it and presented it to the other linguists as a conlang.
6 years later, other Isenian linguists went to research that language because they have heard interesting stories about the language from merchants.
When Zireih heard of that,he quickly changed the cipher's grammar and the cipher became the first conlang of Isi.
In savannas of southern Mór,something like the Eskayan language exists.

Oh. Pft. There are none in mine. I think as a shout-out to conlanging I will put one in much much later, when I have more about my conworld written down.

Conlangs in a conworld?!

Okay. Stop. Once you start making meta-conlangs, you seriously have no life. I mean....it's even more pointless than normal conlanging (which is fun, but still utterly pointless).

Ouch!

Wow... I read all the posts up until now, and I did not get that! [:$] And without understaning that, this was rather confusing...
Oh, well...

Not only is there a thriving conlang community in my conworld, but my con-conlangers have arguments about whether or not it would be stupid to have conlangs in their conworlds. The most extreme advocates of con-con-conlanging have even invented con-con-con-conlangs, although even they have conceded that creating con-con-con-con-conlangs would be a step too far.

Undiagnosed, usually.
