「Yiuel」は日本語で「ユーエル」と書きます。
日本語でも「現在」とは言えますが、日常の会話では「今(いま)」を使います。例えば、「とにかく、今私に一番重要なことは、単語を習うことだと思います。」 「現在」のような熟語は丁寧そうです。尊敬するときよく使いますが、日常会話ではあまり現れません。
俺は日本語を復習しなければいけませんけどなー。たくさん忘れてます。
質問のことですが、場合により意味が変わります。君の例に在る一つ目の「と」は、何を言ったことを見せる助詞で二つ目は条件の「と」です。 英語に訳せば、「If I ask myself when did you make round your eyes...」。文章には絶対続きがあるでしょう。

皆さん、はじめまして。もう他のボードでしたけど、もう一度日本語で自己紹介したいと思います。
私のユーザー名は「はし」でも、実名は「ジェイデン」です。だけど、「はし」か「ジェイ」と言われることがいいです。
じゃ、私は20年前にニュージーランドのクライストチャーチに生まれて、今パーマーストン・ノースに住んでいます。IPCと言う大学で言語と英語の教授法を勉強して、卒業する後、外国に英語を教えてみたいと思います。高校と大学の時を含めれば、7年間日本語を勉強したけど、最後の2年間以内、練習ができる場合があんまりなかったから、だんだん下手に成ってしまったと思います。
本当に間違えたことと書いたら、訂してくれませんか。
じゃ、もっと質問があったら、どうぞ。

^I think that was the example my teacher (Mrs. Misener) gave me for the most rude way I could say "Let me speak English".
The most polite was something like:
マイズナー先生、大変ですが、私が英語で話させて頂いてもよろしいでしょうか? maizunā-sensei, taihen desu ga, watashi ga(?) eigo de hanasasete itadaite mo yoroshī deshō ka?
I used the first one with permission in order to shock the Japanese T.A. who was new to the class, great fun to introduce her to American humor.
