I can't be the only one fascinated by this impossible-to-learn conlang! Incase you're not familiar with it, here's the link: http://www.ithkuil.net/ithkuil-intro.htm

You're not the only one fascinated by it. It's not meant to be a conlang you can speak in real time. Are you learning Ithkuil or Ilaksh (the revised version)?

'Learning' would be the wrong word. I don't think even the best linguist would be able to memorise every single inflection, what it means and how it's used, and access that information fast enough to construct a grammatically correct and meaningful sentence in, as you say, real time. When I attempt to translate something, I just refer to the site and review each morpheme, or morphological category, I need. I'm mainly interested in Ithkuil.

How about you? Have you made any progress in these conlangs? If so, can you understand what I wrote in Ithkuil in the original post?

I am interested in Ithkuil, but I haven't given it that much time.

I'm strange enough to be fascinated by the possibility of learning a language such as Ithkuil, but not strange enough to actually do that. I mean, its creator didn't! Except for Ilaksh, doesn't a lighter version exist?

Not to my knowledge, but I've been seriously thinking about making one, or at least attempting to make one.

And I wouldn't call Ilaksh 'lighter'. The phonology is smaller, but it's made up for by more tones, more cases, and a tendency towards fusional morphology and away from agglutinative.

I'm also interested in Ithkuil, and it has inspired me to work on some maddeningly complex languages of my own just for fun.

I actually am strange enough to try to learn it, but there are other languages I'm interested in learning first, and those will almost certainly keep me interested enough that I probably won't get around to it. But then again, who knows?
