Himmaswa lian choo (Learn Himmaswa)
Re: Himmaswa lian choo (Learn Himmaswa)
Clawgrip, I haven't found a specific thread only for Himmaswa except for this one, so I'll ask it here: Is HImmaswa a priori or a Sino-Tibetian language? Judging from your Swadesh list, there are a few words that appear to resemble Sino-Tibetian, like 3 "sam", 4 "si", 1SG "hwai" and a few more.
Wipe the glass. This is the usual way to start, even in the days, day and night, only a happy one.

Based on his conworkshop information on Himmaswa, it is a priori.Iyionaku wrote:Clawgrip, I haven't found a specific thread only for Himmaswa except for this one, so I'll ask it here: Is HImmaswa a priori or a Sino-Tibetian language? It is a priori. Originally I added a few words from Chinese and Khmer, but I purged most of them quite a long time ago. I think there are fewer than 10 words that remain, enough for it to be realistically in the realm of coincidence. You have found a few of them, though "hwai" really is coincidental (I'm not even sure what language it coincidentally sounds like).

Years and years ago, when my family had a restaurant/catering facility, on an obscure little plot in the back of our acreage ( *sigh* ), I planted a "Jurassic Garden" of sorts. I took photos. An ex-girlfriend tore them up and burned them in a fit of Menæad rage. Maybe I have one or two more. Tall Equiseta, bristly Araucariæ, a couple seedling Cryptomeriæ 杉, a few native Lycopodia, exactly one seedling Encephalartos friderici-guillielmi, but, of course-

Well, not any. Some Botrychia, Matteucciæ, extremely stately Osmundæ regales (the ones with purple fiddleheads), Onocleæ, Dennstædtiæ, and the inevitable rambling Pteridia aquilina.
Agschully, friends called it Torassic Park, b/c reasons
