Where do you see yourself in ten years? Working on a postdoctorate somewhere. Preferably in Europe, East Asia, or Australia. With a published book, a cat, and preferably one less voice in my head because she's really gotten rather annoying and I'm starting to have trouble telling us apart. Acting as the official Terran Ambassador to Insert-Name-of-Alien-Planet-of-First-Contact-Here. Hopefully reunited with Ardelian, wherever he may be.

Religion: Er... well, alright. If you really want to know: I believe in God, whom I address using Evelēranēl's non-gender-specific honorific hu. I am not a creationist - Big Bang all the way - but am reasonably certain that there was a universe before ours and will be one after ours. My idea of 'God' is the omnipresent force that can be defined as Everything-That-Is-And-Is-Not-You, including every inanimate object and abstract concept, and which is not a single being but a compendium of thought and existence from every sentient entity in the universe. I believe in higher realms of consciousness and wisdom above the norm, and of various levels of awakening that occur along one's path through life (I've reached the second major stage: realizing that one is has reached the first major stage, which is sentience. I think, therefore I think I am.) I believe that the concept of sin is the cause of most of the world's problems, and that nothing is ever black and white, which is why I'm not fond of organized religion. I question whether or not the universe actually exists, and whether it may simply be a figment of my imagination, conceited as that sounds, since I of course have never had proof of there being any other truly sentient being aside from myself.

Religion: Monotheist. I can't really say Christian because I don't really follow Christian beliefs and tenets. I'm closer to Jewish, but no one in my nuclear family is Jewish, plus I don't really follow their beliefs or tenets either. I believe in God, and that he created everything, and I suppose most of the morality of the Bible, of which I haven't read but a couple of books. However, there isn't a single story that I've read or heard of from the Bible which I take literally.

My beliefs do not conflict with science, though. I believe science discovers and quantifies the rules/patterns that God made and thus is every bit as true as my beliefs.

Alias: I used to be lryda mbazha, on the old CWB. Maybe five years ago. That meant 'dark flame' in my conlang of the time. Shanhoia means 'golden flame', in a current naming lang.
