That is true. My concern primarily arose from the fact that making a cypher of English (or one's L1 in general) is often considered the cardinal sin of nooblanging.

It may seem like a cypher to you, because right now in your head thats how your translating it. You cant help that. You know everything there is to know about the language, so to you the sentences you make should be easily to translate.
