I've been trying out some free programms and looking for tutorials. But all of them work only for alphabets.
My alphabet is whereas based (loosely) on the hindi one.
If I wanted to have symbols as an alphabet... I'd need 460 of them and complex coding as there are no vovels in my script. Just "vovel place indicators".
It works like this:
a = >< o = ][
>><
WTR = WTAR
] ] ] [
MLHT = MLHOT
So the most far apart "><" tell you when the syllable starts or ends.
The closes "><" indicate the place of the vovel.
>><
I'm okay with the script working in a way where: to get WTR I'd write wAtAra.
P.S Also I seem to be to stupid to learn how to use FontForge. But I have the pictured of each letter both in JPG and vector format.
Help with making a font for my conlang.
Re: Help with making a font for my conlang.
I would like to help you, but unfortunately I don't quite understand the description of how your script works. If you could post images of how it works i might be able to advise you.
