Dubs into conlangs!

Another ZBB duplicate thread of mine!

Hello! We already have a nice thread for translating Disney songs and the like, but I have now taken the trend yet another step further, by providing you all with my own fandub into my conlang Vanga of the eagle running scene from Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron by Dreamworks!

The video description contains a link to a Pastebin post with glosses and IPA, but since I have the power of the forum at hand here, I will post them here two, using a little formatting to enhance reading.

Enjoy my fandub on YouTube!

Then make your own ones to populate this thread! Now for the fun stuff (posting formal IPA, but at least the ending -ódu in the very final word is colloquially shortened in this dub):

Awesome! I'll have to try my hand at doing a Lusaŋki fandub sometime. :3

EDIT: Where do you get video files to use for dubs?

Thanks! You should!

Audio and video with no voice is here, but I actually took the video from a different clip that had the wrong audio, just to get the proper video with no subtitles, and then only later, when I was looking for the voiceless audio to add, I found this. I didn't even realise until writing this message just now that the clip with the proper audio actually has it perfectly synchronised with the video already, haha. I just downloaded the audio separately and synchronised it manually with the video that I had grabbed from elsewhere. Well, that link should make things smoother for you!

I based my translation on the Icelandic dub.

Are you relieved that this finally happened because you had been waiting for this forever, or do you simply like this? :D

This is so cool! Thanks for participating! I love the -rì thing with the unexpected, Mandarin-like pronunciation. This language appeals to me in many ways, and it's so nice to see it in a medium that I can immediately relate to (I've know the Icelandic version of this monologue by heart for years, with the intonation and everything, so this is a clip I know well and need not read along with the translation of). Awesome job!

Oh, and edagırıt! Awesome word.

I'll hopefully have mine done tomorrow, tonight if I can. I have to wait until my dad gets home so I can ask where the microphone is.

In the meantime, I'm enjoying listening to the other dubs so far! :)

Hahaha. I do the exact opposite. I wait for my mother to leave the house so that I can record without it being weird.
