Tada!
See if that one works.
It worked! Thanks!
I can't get a hold of bones or any needle or pick tool.eldin raigmore wrote: ↑28 Dec 2017 02:40 @Ahzoh:
I like the way this looks.
Is there any way you can show it actually carved on seal-bone? Or any kind of bone?
Or show yourself carving it on some kind of imitation bone or bone-substitute?
Or is it meant to be carved?
get some fried chicken.
(what XXXVII said, and)
Find out what kinds of knives etc. old-time whaling-vessel (and other) sailors used to make scrimshaw and/or netsuke etc.
If your conspeakers aren't human, or if they aren't on Earth, or if there's some ET species on Earth to take the place of seals, you could go ahead anyway.Ahzoh wrote: ↑28 Dec 2017 23:52 I got an antler, but I got no awl or chisel. I got a utility knife. Hard to carve into it though, but it could be the blade is a bit dull. Or perhaps antlers are a shit material to work with.
It cannot be done. I do not have and cannot get the tool that can do this well enough.
This rocks. Is it Hanzi for roots and Perso-Arabic for affixes, like the Japanese use Kanji and Kana? At any rate, it looks stunningly beautiful; it is amazing how well these two utterly different scripts play together!
