PIE Idea

Post by sangi39 »

Well, with this being a new incarnation of the old CBB it only seemed right to move over a few of my favourite threads, this being top of my list atm. Thakowsaizmu's PIE idea came about late July last year and, for those who might not remember or know about it, the basic concept behind it was that PIE (Proto-Indo-European) developed in a different way than it did in the real-world as did the historical and cultural development of its speakers. The project takes place here (http://konlang.proboards.com/index.cgi) and involves a number of CBB members. Why not take a look :)
You can tell the same lie a thousand times,
But it never gets any more true,
So close your eyes once more and once more believe
That they all still believe in you.
Just one time.

Oh, neat. You brought it over here.

We are going through and seeing who is and is not still in, redrawing the map a bit. If anyone else would like to come and join, though, please feel more than free!

Yeah, thought I might as well given that it's the basis for my most worked on conlangs to date :)

Unfortunately the forum has been inactive since early 2014. Work gradually lessened over time, despite a particularly strong start, and no-one's posted in over 3 years now.

I'll occasionally visit it if I happen to lose any useful resources or need inspiration, but I don't work on any of those conlangs any more (I don't know if anyone else has carried on with any of there's but it seems unlikely).
