New international language, Rodinian, after 11 years of work

Reading some of the comments from 'A language learner's forum', I think Tommus' point makes the most sense: keep plugging away at it, develop a corpus/archive of translations into Rodinian, and if I may add another 2¢, actually the same 2¢, use it in real-time in places like the Conlang Conversation Thread.
Unplugging just about everything and calling it quits - well... balm thy wounds, if thou must.
I hope to see you on the Conlang Conversation Thread, Rodiniye.

Time is no more for auxLangs but for artLang...
That is just a label...
I do not understand why Esperanto don't try to jump in this mood to became an OST of some movie or series...
Go on a conLang is a work without end...
Better evolving is brought by usage not by building decision... Or advice on forum...

One of the bestest 'works without end' one could pursue. Next to music composition. and maybe cooking (?)Go on a conLang is a work without end...

I said it too, keep on with your language. It is an impressive amount of work. Using it in the conversation thread is a great idea. Using your language in everyday conversation contexts will help you learn what works and what is awkward. I just meant to suggest you may want to also play around with a new language as an attempted auxlang or based off Rodinian.

Really impressed Lambuzhao, Rodinian will be kept as an artlang, and I am working on a pretty new auxlang, which hopefully will have another kind of approach. It should be ready soon, as I have already loads of vocabulary which will still be useful.
Will have some more news soon-ish!

I would like to see the next lang. Keep previous comments (including the other forum I found when searching the language ) in mind.Rodiniye wrote:Really impressed Lambuzhao, Rodinian will be kept as an artlang, and I am working on a pretty new auxlang, which hopefully will have another kind of approach. Yay!Rodiniye wrote:Rodinian will be kept as an artlang
It's just my opinion, but I think Rodinian will be better off this way.
Also, I think perhaps your auxlanging proclivities will also be better served working out a new language that, ehem, is actually an auxlang!
Well, you know the drill! Show it us and we'll happily dissect it minutely and proceed to tell you everything wrong with it!and I am working on a pretty new auxlang, which hopefully will have another kind of approach. Joke only!!
Seriously, auxlang or artlang, we love a well made invented language and of course would love to see your new opus!

You mean you consider artlangs abandonlangs...Rodiniye wrote: Rodinian will be kept as an artlang, and I am working on a pretty new auxlang
or it is a revival of the "there can only remain one" of auxlangland...

Well in my case that's mostly true, but it certainly needn't be true here!lsd wrote:You mean you consider artlangs abandonlangs...Rodiniye wrote: Rodinian will be kept as an artlang, and I am working on a pretty new auxlang

This is the opinion of an auxlanger...
This is not the most common here...
But the inversion of the standards is always tasty ...

So the new project is born, and I have learnt from many mistakes made. "Atlas" is the new language. You will be able to see it in a new post. I leave the webpage here:
http://atlas-language.blogspot.com.es/
I have taken all your notes into account: simple phonetics, much more simple grammar, gender neutral... as I said, I will begin a new discussion so it would be good to see your thoughts.

"The Rodinian-English-Spanish dictionary, with more than 10.000 entries."
Your auxlang really has more than 10,000 words? That's awesome. I'd like to include it on my list of conlangs with 10,000 or more words, if you can confirm that Rodinian really does have 10,000. So far I have 45 languages on my list.
