Schleicher's fable
Išō ette mōmren

Išō rason hōlmo ḗo kalmaši ībwūlem mōmretun: nemon šā́item keštin vāstrat, īdmon kešcem b'ān nókat, ette hássen d'ūomur vāstem neštat.
Išō ādem mōmretun: "Ārdī skēmo šenet, ībwūlo šeso neštatti mōmren šnoniro".
Mōmren ōidem: "Sass, išō! Ārdī skēmo eššo, ībwūlo neštat, nūarset, nōme ōlmo ī́ssan ane kan ālħatti. Ette išō herāso ōlmo."
Sase dōno, išō dēstem ḗom dāneseši.

I'd wanted
Spoiler:
I'd wanted to be a gleam in your eye
I'd wanted to be a pearl on your hand
I don't have anything more than my dreams
Don't wanna be an apple on the apple-tree

I'd wanted to be a word in your mouth
I'd wanted to be a piece of your thoughts
I don't have anything more than my song
Don't wanna be a leaf among the leaves

I'd wanted to be a shooting star
I'd wanted to be a moon in the sky
I don't have anything more than my pride
Don't wanna be a branch in a tree

I'd wanted to be a light to your path
I'd wanted to be a meaning of your life
Besides the moments I don't have anything else
Don't wanna be a sound in this song!

Funny fact: you can use temporalis with the names:
Dēbēran Krar - Black Raven (name of a nešši prophet)
Dēbēranum Kraram

I don't think I've ever heard of a temporalis case before. Is it like this or this? If so, what does it mean when it's added to names?

What do the acute accents represent?

I like the aesthetic of the language, by the way.

It's like a temporal case. A function of a distributive-temporal case can be expressed with adjectives like /every/ or something like that.

In somoeone lifetime, or when somoeone was.
shimobaatar wrote: What do the acute accents represent?
The acute acent represents 2nd tone. The first tone is like a ordinary ptich accent, when 2nd starts higher than 1st, dips and then rises to a higher pitch than where it began.
I like how it sounds :)

Thank you. I've seen your visigothic and it's very interesting project. I have identical idea, but for polish language :P It's named giecka - polish phonology and grammar (but I've decided, that I'll leave all characteristic of Gothic).

A next text in Nešši!

Voveso in mori
In the ocean I drown.
In the ocean of my tears I drown.
Howling winds are bending my mast
and my longing deepens with every dram.

Welcome, my shore
Welcome, silent wave
In the ocean of my tears I drown.

This looks nice, though the unvoiced implosives are a weird addition; why not just the ordinary voiced ones? I don't think I've seen a language which has the unvoiced ones without the voiced ones as well, and in any case all those languages have a good deal more consonants than this anyway.

Do you plan on posting information on the grammar of the language here in English, because I'd love to see more!
