Re: CBB Conlang Relay IX
I'll participate with Atruozan. This'll be interesting. If possible I'd like to work on it before the last week of January, as I'll be in exams then.

Is it too late to participate?
I loved the last relay and have been waiting for a long time that a new one would start! I'll propably join with Caelian again.
Also, if nobody would mind, I'd prefer to be scheduled somewhere in the middle of the process.

Wipe the glass. This is the usual way to start, even in the days, day and night, only a happy one.

I'd like to join with Silvish if it's not too late.

Re: CBB Conlang Relay IX
Two questions about the timeline: when are you planning to start, and how much time will each participant be given?
Asking because I still have huge gaps in Nakarian grammar and need to know how fast I have to fill them. ;)

Re: CBB Conlang Relay IX
Did you include Lao Kou with Géarthnuns a few posts back in the participant list, or did he decided something else with you?

Re: CBB Conlang Relay IX
We'll start this evening if I can finish putting the torch together by then (still need to write up some grammar notes); each participant will have about 48-ish hours - that's a variable time, and it's fine if someone takes longer, but if there's too much of a gap then they'd be liable to be skipped so that things can keep moving.gestaltist wrote: ↑11 Jan 2018 09:48 Two questions about the timeline: when are you planning to start, and how much time will each participant be given?

Oops, I managed not to see the second half of Lao's post. Adding now. Thanks!

I’d like to participate with Núta if you’re still accepting signups. Could I be placed towards the end? Perhaps after Gestaltist?

Re: CBB Conlang Relay IX
The torch has been passed to Fluffy8x. And so it begins.
To Fluffy and all other participants: Remember to cc me on your PM to the next person on the list, and also send me a copy of your English translation from the previous person's text.

Re: CBB Conlang Relay IX
Just one question: If you have already received all the torches, won't you be able to make the last translation then? Or will you open the PMs only before posting the final results? I had already been very confused about that in the last relay.

You only open stuff before the final results, yes.

Re: CBB Conlang Relay IX
I should have clarified that, yes; I won't be reading any of the messages until after the last round, at which point all English and conlang translations will be posted here in order for comparison and so that we may amuse ourselves figuring out where things changed/diverged.

I work tonight and tomorrow and won't have a chance to even look at the Torch until after my window, let alone coin new terms and pass it along. In fact, I likely won't have much time until maaaaybe Monday or more likely Thursday... Should I just pass it along?

I'll move you down a couple of spaces; pass it along to Reyzadren.Thrice Xandvii wrote: ↑13 Jan 2018 18:56 I work tonight and tomorrow and won't have a chance to even look at the Torch until after my window, let alone coin new terms and pass it along. Re: CBB Conlang Relay IX
I honestly think I might need to get skipped in general, instead. I'm kinda not feeling the time limit on this whole thing as I've been in a bit of an "off" streak as far as conlanging goes. Sorry y'all.

That's alright - if you change your mind later and we're still going, you can be added back in if you'd like.Thrice Xandvii wrote: ↑14 Jan 2018 07:12 I honestly think I might need to get skipped in genera, instead. Reyzadren - have you received the torch? I'm not entirely certain who last had it now, as we've skipped two people.

I passed it along to Reyzadren. (The one I got from Fluffy.)

Weird, I sent it to you.
Edit: I resent it.
