Phonotactics:
The stops/affricates have their leftmost allophone when Syllable-initial, and the one to the right when intervocal. The coronals, except for the rhotics/lateral, take their palatal allophone when before a tense front vowel. The stops collapse to their plain forms ([p t k]) when syllable-final; similiarly, /s s: r/ become [t] in that position. /ɾ~l/ is [ɾ] syllable-intially and intervocally, while [l] when syllable final or in an <ll> sequence. /v/ is [w] syllable finally. There is strict tense/lax harmony. Vowel sequences are split by /ŋ/

Nouns:
The Language is Fluid-S. Nouns have Four Genders: Human, Animal, Vegitative and Inanimate. These are mostly natural classes, but salt is Vegitative, as are words for precipatation and bodies of water, and fire and the sun are human, as the culture worships fire and the sun, believing that the ethical person's afterlife is on the sun, source of all fire, while the unethical person's is on the moon "Place of the Eternal blizzard". These genders are only reflected on verbs.

The Intransitive Verb:
I will only consider the Animate, Vegatative, and Inanimate genders in this post. I will also only consider the Indicative mood.
The Intransitive Verb is ussualy mono- or di-syllabic, ending in a consonant. For Animates, the person marker distinguishes for Agentive and Patientive. Vegetative and Inanimate nouns are automatically Patientave in the The Intransitive, and this may correspond to the passive voice in English.
Tense Markers:
Past: Ul
Present: ∅
Future: Ikk

Concord markers:
Animate Agentive singular: OwI
Animate Agentive plural: OwUl
Animate Patientive singular: IsI
Animate patientive plural: IssUl
Vegetative Singular: Op
Vegetative Plural: Am
Inanimate Singular: In
Inanimate Plural: Ing

So the verb "Séss" "To fall, to lay down"

Pallew Séssúlówúl
"The Polar Bear lied down"

Séssíkkísúl pallewelangi
"The polar bears will fall"

Séssám kangk'omelangi
"The Crowberries are falling"

The Verb Ppal "To eat s.t."
Ppalulop kangk'omangi
"The crowberry was eaten"
Many children make up, or begin to make up, imaginary languages. I have been at it since I could write.

The Copula:
The Copula is technically a transitive verb, but behaves in a lot of ways like an intransitive one.
The root of the Copula is Ttá, but this is subject to suppletion.
The past root is Ttú
The Future root is Ttík
The conjugation is as follows:
Present:
Animate singular: Ttáw
Animate plural: Ttáwú
Vegetative Singular: Ttáp
Vegetative Plural: Ttám
Inanimate Singular: Ttán
Inanimate Plural: Ttáng

Past:
Animate singular: Ttúw
Animate plural: Ttúwú
Vegetative Singular: Ttúp
Vegetative Plural: Ttúm
Inanimate Singular: Ttún
Inanimate Plural: Ttúng

Future:
Animate singular: Ttíkúw
Animate plural: Ttíkúwú
Vegetative Singular: Ttíkáp
Vegetative Plural: Ttíkám
Inanimate Singular: Ttíkán
Inanimate Plural: Ttíkáng

So:
Pallewel rrangkipelangi ttáwú
"Polar bears are animals"

P'alimikkawa ssáténgangi ttúp
"P'ali lake was [once] a tundra"

Anthropological note:
The Sílómán are a confederation of nomadic tribes, each speaking a different language/dialect of variable mutual intelligibility. However, the language I present here is the lingua franca, the P'ali dialect with influence from the other "dialects". Each tribe has its own language, named after it, but this lingua franca is called "Sílómán". Some tribes use "Sílóman", in addition to inter-tribal discourse, as a language of the shamans/myth-keepers, and most tribes recite the oral (they have no writing) "Oath of Confederation" in "Sílómán", even among themselves, when discussing inter-tribal diplomacy.
