That's odd. It should be working. If it helps, the only difference from the 700 CE map is that Drevaça is part of Dunhounia, and Powys and Bouragho are part of Loundein. Also, Gwynedd expanded a bit Eastward, taking up as much land as modern-day Wales.

The results are in!

44) What will be the fate of /æ/?
a) It merges with /ɛ/.

48) The phonetic changes for Proto-Brettaniot will be finished when #44 is voted on. How should it evolve from this point on?
b) It should be a dialect continuum similar to Medieval Western Romance, but in this case, there would only be one standard at play, and it would be the dialect spoken in Loundein (OTL London).

49) How should /θ/ be written?
b) /θ/ - <th>

50) What will be the fate of /ɣ/?
c) It will become /j/ after front vowels, and /w/ otherwise. (English)

51) It is now 800 CE, and this is the current political situation in OTL England and Wales. Danish armies have just arrived on the eastern shores of the British Isles, and they wish to conquer the British Isles. What will happen next?
a) They will only conquer York. (What Happened in OTL)

-

52) What should happen to the noun cases of Old Brettaniot?
a) All 3 cases will be retained.
b) The genitive case will be lost.
c) The oblique case will be lost.
d) All 3 cases will be lost.
e) Other.

53) What should be the fate of /y/?
a) It should become /i/.
b) It should become /ɨ/.
c) No changes should occur. (Proposed by IEPH)
d) It should become /ju/. (Proposed by Ælfwine)
e) Other.

54) What should happen to unstressed /u/?
a) /u/ > [ə]
b) Nothing should happen.
c) /u/ > /ʊ/ and /i/ > /ɪ/ (Proposed by this_is_an_account)
d) /u/ > /y/ (Proposed by samsam)
e) Other.

55) It is 850 CE, and the Vikings have established the Danelaw (Dane Leie in Proto-Brettaniot) in former Bouragho and Rheged, and they wish to conquer the entire British Isles. Despite the tensions between Loundein and Dunhounia, they both have a common enemy. Should they unite to put Danish expansion in England to a halt?
a) Yes, they should unite and form Britain.
b) Yes, but they should remain as separate countries.
c) No, they should not join forces.
d) Other.

56) Due to intermarriage between the royal families of Britain, the heir to the throne of Loundein (Rhodri of Gwynedd) is also the heir to the throne of Gwynedd. Should he unite both nations as one?
a) Yes.
b) No.
c) Other.

Voting ends tomorrow 21:30 EDT or 01:30 UTC.

First it told me to register for DropBox.
When I said no, it tried to sell me the app.
When I said no again, then it finally showed me the map.
Yes, that link “works” (sort of).

If you're on a computer, at least, you should have been able to get rid of that pop-up right away by clicking the X in the corner. That's what I did.

Also, if we go with /u/ → /ʊ/, /i/ → /ɪ/ would make sense.

Since we have phonemic /ɪ/, we might as well get /ʊ/ aswell.
Also, if we go with my suggestion as well as add phonemic length, the outcome will depend on whether 57 or 58 go first. If 57 goes first, you get:

/iə uə/ → /ɪ ʊ/
/iəː uəː/ → /jə wə/, /ja wa/, /i u/, /ɪː ʊː/ or something else.

If 58 goes first, you get:

/iə uə/ → /ɪ ʊ/ → /ɪ ɪː ʊ ʊː/

I was planning on making 57 go first, so if we do end up getting phonemic length and using your proposal, this would be the phonemic inventory.

/i u ɪ ʊ e ə o ɛ a/
/iː uː ɪː ʊː eː (əː) oː ɛː aː/
/ei/
/eːi/

The reason that /əː/ is in parentheses is that if we decide to only lengthen stressed vowels, /ə/ would not be lengthened.
