NB: it's very odd that a language would adopt Old English style changes before Old English existed? Although I guess it can be explained as a coincidence.
I can see why it would be odd, but it could be possible if we end up deciding to integrate the Angles, Saxons, and Jutes into Londein. If not, than it could probably be explained by those that had already been residing in Britain. If I remember correctly, there were already Anglo-Saxons serving in the Roman military for at least the past 100 years.
