Guess the language from the gloss!
This is just like the other guess the language game, but rather than guessing from a text, you have to guess from a gloss of a text or glosses of several sentences, with a translation but without the text itself. Thus, you have to guess based on the language's grammatical features rather than its orthographical features. As in the other game, Googling is cheating.
I'll start:
Sam yesterday what bought.3sg
What did Sam buy yesterday?
I book.PL read.1sg to professor become.1sg
I read books to become a professor.
I flower water sprayed.1sg
I watered (the) flowers.
I went.1sg that buy.1sg
I left in order to buy.
all one song ear.dur.give.3sg
Everybody listens to a/same song.
(Note: "dur" indicates the durative aspect)

That seems to be the case, at least morphologically.Creyeditor wrote:Is there a clear cut distinction between verbs and nouns?

There are speakers in Russia, but I am fairly certain that Russia is not one of the primary countries in which it is spoken.qwed117 wrote:Are there varieties spoken in Northern Asia?GrandPiano wrote:One variety is spoken in Central Asia.qwed117 wrote:Central Asia?GrandPiano wrote:qwed117 wrote:North of the Himalayas?
