Nuxálk....

It's all fun in theory, but it just sounds like somebody with a speech disorder when actually spoken, as far as I can conclude from the one sample of spoken Nuxálk I have heard.

I don't really like Korean and Hebrew for some reason. :-|
I now have a blog. Witness the horror.

Hebrew and Vietnamese.
Hebrew sounds like /χaʁaʃaʁaχaχaʁaʃaʁa/ and Vietnamese sounds ridiculous

Or maybe it's the title. There is no 'worst sounding netlang' there just netlangs which sound worse to certain people, depending on their opinion.

Obviously it's an opinion. But what's that got to do with "ethnocentricity"?

Maybe he doesn't understand what the term means? Because it really has nothing to do with any kind of ethnocentrism. Not even by some strange stretch of the imagination and the meaning of the word.

Oops! Language mistake! Forget about that post.

Just don't think there are languages that sound worse.

@TallaFerroXIV, we're talking about "natlangs", which is Conlanger shorthand for "natural languages".
"Netlangs" sounds like something else.
Are you sure you were talking about the same topic as the rest of us?

Also:
The thread and its Original Poster are asking folks' opinions.
We all know "There is no 'worst-sounding natlang'" (objectively-speaking -- thc); we all know that "there are just natlangs which sound worse to certain people, depending on their opinion"; the O.P. is just asking what people's opinions are, that is, which languages sound worst to which CBB members.

--------------------------------------------

As for me, and my opinion:

I have not yet heard a natural language that sounded bad to me.

I have heard some that make important distinctions using differences in sound that I can barely detect.

I have seen some words in some that, if I try to pronounce them, I fear for my own safety.

But none of the ones I've actually heard sound bad.
