Re: Can you drive a car?
Ardelian
Ardelian does not have a specialised verb for ‘be able, can’ so it has to use a rather roundabout strategy of putting the verb in the causative voice and conjugating it into its reflexive form. As the reflexive (in this case 2SG object) affix already takes up the object slot, ‘car’ cannot be incorporated into the verb.

Re: Can you drive a car?
I included distinción because it's the most common pronunciation in Spain and seseo because it's the most common pronunciation everywhere else and is also used in some parts of Spain. Ceceo seems to be mainly limited to a few dialects in southern Spain, so there isn't really any reason to include it, unless you want me to also include things like s-debuccalization and d-deletion.
Re: Can you drive a car?
Ceceo seems to be more common than seseo in spain tho. It's best to have ceceo and distincion for spain, and seseo for latin americaGrandPiano wrote:I included distinción because it's the most common pronunciation in Spain and seseo because it's the most common pronunciation everywhere else and is also used in some parts of Spain.
