My attempt at :lat: Latin:

(Since the Romans don't seem to have had showers in the modern sense, I've replaced "shower" with balneum "bath".)

Est struthiocamelus saltans in meo balneo.
[ɛst struːtʰi.ɔkaˈmeːlʊs ˈsaltãːs ɪn ˈme.oː ˈbalne.oː] (in less educated speech, the <th> would likely be unaspirated)
est struthiocamel-us salt-ans in me-o balne-o
COP.3SG.PRS.IND ostrich-NOM.SG dance-PRESP.NOM.SG LOC 1SG.POS-ABL.N.SG bath-ABL.SG

There's an ostrich dancing in my bath.

In Late Latin, "struthiocamelus" could be replaced with just "struthio".

Em… videamus...

:lat:, whenever possible likes to be SOV. Sure, this can get violated in various ways, but still...
1) 'est' goes last: Struthiocamelus saltans in meo balneo est.

:lat: will tend to put POSS.ADJs after the nouns they modify (Cf. pater noster ). Notable exceptions are phrases in VOC: mi vetule 'my old man! (i.e. buddy)' mi hercle 'Oh My Hercules!' mi dii 'Oh my gods!'
2a) Struthiocamelus in balneo meo saltans est.

In PRP phrases, to really tart things up, one could put an attributive ADJ (incl. POSS.ADJs) before the preposition, anticipating the noun in the PRP phrase
2b) Struthiocamelus meo in balneo saltans est.

I'm sure there may be a precedent for a <PRS.PTCP> + COP which does not have a PRS.PROG feel/flavor.
But IMHO i think one could just as simply say ' An ostrich is dancing in my bath' w/ the Simple Present:

3a) Struthiocamelus in balneo meo saltat.
3b) Struthiocamelus meo in balneo saltat.

One might even use the deictic ecce 'Behold!', 'Look here!' to add existential and proximal emphasis:

4a) Ecce struthiocamelus in balneo meo saltat (!)

Additionally, one might be tempted to use adest 'is present', 'is here', 'is there'. Again, IMHO it seems a little overmuch with the PRS.PTCP, but quote me two or more sources and I may just go there:

5(?) Ecce struthiocamelus in balneo meo saltans adest
Look, there's a dancing ostrich {here/present} in my bath (!)

Oh, the permutations!
