Honestly I have no fucking idea how to translate this into Yélian. Maybe this is just a big grammatical hole. I could invent a new causative prefix for it, of course; but I don't feel comfortable with it. I already created way too many prefixes that are very rarely used. I'll think of this during work day and will come back to this thread in the evening.

First, it's 遛 (liù) in 遛狗 (walk a dog).

As you're using 帮 here, it's a coverb, and as such, doesn't take 了. (Stylistically, I'd drop 我的; I daresay context would handle that).That gives:

你帮我遛(我的)狗。

But this sounds like "You walked my dog for me." (because I was away for a few days; because I was sick in bed...)

In the sense of actual helping, I'd go with the full-blown 帮助 (bāngzhù):

你帮助我遛(我的)狗。
You helped me walk my dog. (because I‘m a diminutive 90-year-old woman being dragged down the street by my overzealous Great Dane puppy...)

In phrases with a copula all tense is inflicted via copula, regular tense marking only occurs in phrases without a copula.

The accusative prefix appears in this sentence because it is assumed to be talking about something desired by the speaker, making the order VSO instead of SVO. It does not have to be VSO; it could also be SVO and ambiguous about whether it is desired, or SOV implying it was not desired by the speaker. The accusative is ommitted in SVO sentences. Sometimes, as in this case, the only way to distinguish VSO from SVO is the use of the accusative in VSO sentences.

:con: Silvish

This sentence isn't too difficult to translate from a valency point of view, but Silvish makes a few distinctions here that are absent in English. If the speaker is male, they should say ediàt; if they are female, ediâ. If the dog is male, one says (lou) mon hè; for a female dog, (la) ma hen-e. Including the definite article lou/la implies that the dog is not the speaker's only dog.

Tu m'aç ediàt/ediâ a parmenä (lou) mon hè / (la) ma hen-e.
[ty.ma.səˈdjat/əˈdjɑː a.paʁ.məˈnɛː (lu.)mɔ̃ˈhe / (la.)məˈhẽ.ə]

SR = "strong"/human-associated gender
WK = "weak"/non-human-associated gender

:fra: French

French makes the first two distinctions in the same way that Silvish does (male speaker = aidé, female speaker = aidée; male dog = mon chien, female dog = ma chienne).

Tu m'as aidé(e) à promener mon chien / ma chienne.
/ty ma ɛ.de a pʁɔm.ne mɔ̃ ʃjɛ̃ | ma ʃjɛn/
2SG-NOM 1SG.ACC=have.2SG help-PST_PTCP(F) to walk-INF 1SG-POSS.M dog / 1SG-POSS.F dog-F

:eng: :lat: Romanglic

"Me walk my dog" gets nominalized in Romanglic. It's ambiguous; technically, it could refer to any dog, not just the speaker's. But context should make it clear which dog is meant.

Mercy assisted ego's canine promenade.

You helped me walk my dog.
