I had some real difficulty translating "black". The Latin words for "black" that made their way into English that I can find have all narrowed in meaning and/or become offensive, so I went with "sable", which is a Balto-Slavic word by way of German and Latin. Not quite what I want, but it'll do for now. Additionally, I'm not sure if I can make a distinction between "believe" and "trust". For the moment, Second Feline says the same thing twice. On the bright side, I found out "cheat" is ultimately from Latin, so that last sentence was a piece of cake.

Romanglic

Sable feline duo discussed queues / caudal appendages.
"Ego's queue / caudal appendage exceeds mercy's concerning length," declared certain feline, addressing second.
"Ego fails crediting mercy," declared second feline.
"Compare."
"Negatory, ego fails crediting mercy. Mercy cheats constantly."

You used "length", which is a Germanic word after all. How about "metric volume"?

Oh, I didn't know that word. That works. I also just remembered "jet", which fits.
Iyionaku wrote:You used "length", which is a Germanic word after all. How about "metric volume"?
How could I let something as obvious as "length" slip through? I think I'll go with an adverb, "metrically". Those usually sound better if I can swing them.
