It's not. I'd recommend moving on from the first syllable. You guys are pretty far off with it

Not exactly. Very very close to the point of it not making a difference though

Also I'm really sorry about this but I accidentally misspelled it. It's actually steppúrmbbearåg. It doesn't particularly change anything though

Is it step·púrm·bear·åg

(The new form appears to be missing a <b> Is this intentional?)

Some possible clusters that could be responsible for stepp morpheme

st <*sk, sl, sn, sp st
pp<*b, dw, ft, kk, pj, þj, lb, ld, p, w, mb

The list is rather long, largely because I haven't bothered to weed out answers that are contrary to Thrinnish development. It should be rather easy though to pinpoint ones that are impossible. Simply go to the Thrinn page and look for clusters that are inherited from PGm. Too lazy to do that though

Sorry to make you go through so much work. It's a borrowing

So even that wouldn't have worked...

Does "beara" mean "bear"? I know this is almost certainly in the Thrinn thread, but if I looked I'd feel like I were cheating.
