To be or not to be, that is identified as the question.

Note: to make conjunctions I take prepositional words and add the definite particle in front of it and, voila!, conjunctions. Which make neither the postpositions postpositions nor the definite particles definite particles any more. Can anyone suggest better grammatical terms?

General reiiT to English translation: To exist or not exist - this is the question before you here and now.
Shakespear: To be or not to be - that is the question.

Well, this is all up for interpretation. Since tiyen has no form of "to be", I think they'll opt for "exist" instead. The next sentence is hard to translate as well since such a sentence wouldn't exist in their language. The Gnomic Tense can refer to always or never or an unknown time.
(Tenses can also be a way to signify distance from the speaker.)
The above title is DECEPTIVE: I am a girl...and a succubus.

Tisten ul la tisten - haģe macarasa.
exist.AORIST.1sg or no exist.AORIST.1sg - that question.

The word for 'question', macarasa is interesting - it literally means "saying ma", which is an interrogative particle.

Thought I'd point out that the most common Japanese translation is "生きるべきか、死ぬべきか、それが問題だ" which translates something like "whether to live or die - that is the problem." The one used in this thread is odd because it actually means "whether I/you/he/she/etc. is here or not here - that is the problem."
