<liber > ?
If so is the second part from volens, and thus "free will"
But isn't free <līber> and not <liber>? That wouldn't result in a /eb/ in Vulgar Latin
Dear heavens, I do believe you are right!
I guess I'll change that to is the first morpheme from <libra>?

For the second part, is it possible that it is derived from <folium >?
/ˈlib.rum + ˈfo.li.um/ > /ˈleβ.ro.vɔ.ʎo/ > /ˈlou̯ɾ.vəj/
Therefore, could it mean "a page in a book"?

Yeah!
But I have to admit that it was a really tricky challenge!
I had to whip out a very old romlang and created a new word in it just for this challenge, so I guess it'll be a little bit easier to guess this round. The word is:
<esmaicelisaçõi>
/es.mai̯.s̪e.li.zaˈs̪õĩ̯/

Besides the /k/ in ex- > es- and the /n/ in -ationem > -açõi, were any other Latin consonants deleted?

Should we try this same game with a priori languages or would that be too difficult?

In Latin, was there a vowel in between the ex- and the m, or was the ex- suffix not added on until after the end of Latin?

I'd think that would be nearly impossible, wouldn't it?

(it's a relatively new coinage)
