Guess the Word in Romlangs
Re: Guess the Word in Romlangs
To recap what we know about the second word, <tseanărïtse> [t͡se̯anə'rɨt͡s]:
If so, did the word begin with /k/ in Classical Latin?
- It is a neuter singular noun. The neuter was preserved from Classical Latin.
- /e̯a/ < Classical Latin /ɪ/.
- /t͡s/ < Classical Latin /k/.
- /ɨ/ is not from Classical Latin /ɪ/ or /iː/.
If so, did the word begin with /k/ in Classical Latin?
