This translation challenge was on reddit a little while ago, i figured i would post this over here as it's a pretty neat translation. Anyways, i'm interested in how other conlangs translate "yesterday".

"siy parcas" is the word for yesterday; it means literally "before the sun". The prepositional phrase causes the absence of the preposition "pès" that normally has to be used with the verb "vacura" (to go back; to come back; to rise again; to return)

*vug- (as in vugmishya is an intensive prefix signifying to return to a former state or place. The less emphatic "shta-" as in shtamishya could also be used.
