Your house

Post by Alessio »

I'm building some house lexicon for my latest conlang, Simpel. I thought it could be a good idea to have you share a description of your house in your conlang(s) as well, to encourage you to build that same lexicon. Add your natlang(s) too if you'd like!

I'll go first. The sentence I'm going to translate is:

:eng: My house is small but nice. Inside the house we find an entry, two corridors, a kitchen, two bedrooms and one bathroom. There's no dining room or living room, because the house is small. However, the kitchen is big enough for us to use it both as a dining room and a living room as well.

I tried to translate your sentences as well because it was quicker and simpler for me than trying to create sentences. I liked the last sentence because it's so different in Turkish (if I translated it correctly, that is).

:tur: Turkish

Evim küçük ama güzel. Evin içinde antre, iki hol, mutfak, iki yatak odası ve banyo var. Yemek odası ve oturma odası yok çünkü ev küçük. Fakat mutfak hem yemek odası hem de oturma odası olarak bunu kullanmamız için yeter büyük.
