1 meter is 1.42 con ("leg"), 1 Con is 0,704 meters. 1 fèn ("wide") is 50 cons.
Subsequently, 1 kilometer is about 28.4 fèn, or 1 fèn is 35.2 meters.

Both the UP and the Kingdom of Shelliania switched to the metric system and those old units are only rarely used nowadays.
"eld." is an abbreviation for "etlîyido" - "to put it differently".

benʻarco is a lexical unit with the meaning "extinct volcano".

More Literally: Over the savannas of Tanzania stand the besnowed peaks of Kilimanjaro. It’s the highest mountain of Africa (5,895 meters or 19,341 feet) and it’s also a dead volcano.

NB: Another possible word for volcano is vuirbórrow /vœɪrbøɾou/.

Ɖaujai, (very susceptible to later editing)

I'm sorry I'm using colors but I really suck at making the code display thing.

The snow-white peaks of Kilimanjaro stand above the savana of Tanzania.

It is the highest mountain of Africa, (five thousand eight hundred and ninety five meters; nineteen thousand three hundred and forty-one feet), and is a dead volcano.

metri and fyeji are italian loans. metri, piedi. Kilimajàru and Tandzania are also Italian loans, which is why they are written in this way; there are no short i values for Kilimanjaro, and borrowed -o declensions generally raise to a historic Ɖaujai -u declension. The z of the Italian Tanzania is realized as [dz], I'm pretty sure, because that's a nasal before it. If not, then [ts], which becomes dz in Ɖaujai anyway.
rollme you can use for a savanna or a prairie, but it generally is used to refer to a specific grassland on the continent where Ɖaujai is spoken, which has visible mountains on the horizon.
I've said previously on this forum that [di] lenites to [dʒ], but sĭmbeyĭn was coined after the sound change occured, and the d is only there because of rendaku. But I might change that too.

edit: used / instead of [ for a phonological value. so i just cleaned that up.
