Introduction thread(s)
Re: Introduction thread(s)
Hey,
This seems like a good place to introduce myself. I've been lurking here and at the ZBB for ages (about five years I reckon :P) and I thought it was about time I made an account. I dabble rather in conlanging, so I don't know how often I'll post.

Welcome, Semyon.
I haven't really done any conlanging in a while myself. I guess I'm on some kind of break or somethin. I don't know how long it will last. Anyway, enjoy your stay!

Re: Introduction thread(s)
Hello. I'm new here, as you may have guessed. I love conlanging and have been doing it for about a year now. I've started with a cipher, but moved on to different concepts, like a weird mix of Finnish, Russian, and Icelandic that is based on Hebrew grammar, and the likes. My current project is based on Finnish and Lithuanian, but it's still very different (or so I like to think).
I speak Russian, Hebrew, and English fluently, more or less, and would love to know Finnish, Swedish, Lithuanian, and German. I have some really small knowledge in Finnish, so I guess it's a good start.

Well, then you've certainly come to the right place .Iron wrote:...and would love to know Swedish...
There are a few people here who can help you with your Finnish too.
Oh, and welcome. Enjoy your stay.

Hello everyone, I am Tabithda, a chronic lurker who decided to actually register a week ago or so.
Re: Introduction thread(s)
Er...I missed this thread. :D
A little late now, but hi everyone! I'm Kingdemon (I'm a girl though) and I am a wannabe professional conlanger (Is there such a thing? How much did they pay the guy who created the Na'vi language? I want his job. :P). I speak bits of lots of languages (Russian, Japanese, French, Italian, Hispanic Spanish, and Gaelic), but I'm obviously an American English Speaker (not to be confused with British English). I'm "fluent" in American Sign Language, which is actually quite useful when speaking to someone who doesn't speak your own language. :D
Well, that was probably the longest-winded introduction ever.
It's nice to meet everyone! Here's my ahead-of-time THANK YOU (though I'll include it as necessary anyways) and I hope we all get along.
Thanks again!
