Translated songs?

Has anybody else tried translating songs into your conlang and still keep a good flow?
I haven't tried a full song but i did translate part of "Let it go - Otveneesh" If yall have translated songs it or maybe even created songs, it would be pretty cool to see

I have translated the German lyrics of "Stille Nacht" ("Silent Night") one to one into my conlang Derrovian and I think it's still pretty singable.

Mîrta nât', alan'ta nât'!
Hol' turmach, berot manas
Lë alan'tmano dipo.
rhunticô dhorsthô nov' iono,
Turm i novis' kevânu,
Turm i novis' kevânu.

Nice, ive had some difficulty translating to music with Teeverb Kuluxem because it usually takes longer to say things in VL (Verbalux)

A few weeks ago I translated the first part of Let it go into Devoinian. It's far from perfect, but this is what I came up with:

Libanam
Eųnoi snov sena bulavna
An suda piude se mosa
Gavrum isolaien,
E mosadna eų gavuia
Ventu asura ïn eųg kugni mesaga undoma
Iavai eų stoiensa se, Doi suva asnai eų!

I translated the English translations of the Foreground Eclipse song Dear, Are You Getting Sober into Pazmat. Yes, it's a translation of a translation, but the English one was done by an incredibly skilled person so it's not too bad (also, some of the lyrics are already English. Here it is:

I find absolutely nothing wrong with that. In fact, a few years back, I translated the Moody Blues song Knights in White Satin into my

Çedara. But the opening phrase itself nearly sent me down the well of the Ringu.

What to do? I found an Italian version of the song, which had IMHO a silly play on the words of the title Notte di luce, but which worked out much less "lumpy" in certain parts.

I also tried Adeste Fideles in Old English and in my Germanic

Sadrås, but had to consult the German and Dutch versions to get some better ideas on phrasing.

Like any telephone-game, though, a fun epilogue is to compare it to the Quelle version.

Why does this look like English? I thought it was English or a nooblang with the English alphabet. The only thing not English is that it looks like it uses "x" a lot, whatever that stands for.

Maybe it's actually a 1:1 phonetic representation of what the language actually sounds like. Maybe <ee> represents /e:/ and maybe <c> and <k> represent different sounds, despite some of this looking similar superficially to English?

Ah, I see it now. Really, the only "Englishy" things that jumps out at me is <ee>, but, as you said, that could be /e:/.

That is a great idea for a relay game - instead of having to decipher the previous torch, the difficulty comes from keeping to the rhythm and rhyming pattern. It might take a little bit longer than normal relays, though.
