NOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I took a few days break from conlanging, then find out the proper Awkwords page is gone!!

Now there's only the old one, which is a pain in the ass mostly cos it can't process many non-English letters.

Anyone know any other gens? Hopefully of a similar quality?

Not sure about that. But yes, it's a pain that Awkwords is down, because I've been really working hard on a few conlangs lately, and I use it a lot for word generation.

What's the link to the old one? It's better than nothing. Hopefully the account was just suspended due to bandwidth overuse and will be back next month.

Man, I can never figure out how to get my phonotactics right in Awkwords.

I have no clue how to represent Kron's voicing hierarchy in it. Basically, consonant clusters can be ANYTHING, so long as they don't go "up" from voiceless to voices. So, Voiceless-Voiceless, Voiced-Voiceless, and Voiced-Voiced are allowed, but now Voiceless-Voiced. I have the voiceless consonants as "U" and voiced ones as "C", but how can I put this in?

Right now, I have (C/U)(U)(A*)V(C/U)(U). This is mostly good, but it will never put out a voiced-voiced (CC) pair, just everything else. I'm not sure how I can get it to not violate the voicing hierarchy....

I have to admit that I had a few problems using it for phonotactics; eventually I ended up with this (The weight system being broken is a real pain!):
C c/c/c/c/c/c/c/c/f/f/f/f/h/h/h/h/k/k/k/k/k/k/k/k/k/k/k/k/k/k/k/k/l/l/l/l/m/m/m/m/n/n/n/n/p/p/p/p/p/p/p/p/r/r/r/r/r/r/r/r/r/r/r/r/r/r/r/r/s/s/s/s/t/t/t/t/w/w/w/w/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x/x
B [([C/C/O])[o/o/o/u/u/u/ua/a](C)]/[(C)[o/o/o/u/u/u/ua/a](C/C/O)]
S [([C/C/O])[e/e/e/i/i/ia/a](C)]/[(C)[e/e/e/i/i/ia/a](C/C/O)]
O g/?
T 1/1/2

[[BT]([BT])([BT])([BT])([BT])([BT])]/[[ST]([ST])([ST])([ST])([ST])([ST])]

g= uvular trill
?= glottal stop
1= rising tone
2= falling tone

This allows for vowel harmony and the fact that the glottal stop and uvular trill can't appear in the same syllable.
It does assign a tone to every syllable when only one is required per word, but after using the mora system to determine which syllable carries the tone, I simply delete the rest.
I'll also note that if the same letter is appearing too much for my liking that I'll happily re-weight them on the fly or simply pick a generated word and swap some out.

You guys know there's a little help button on the top right of the page?

You just put and asterix and whatever number after the consonant/vowel.
E.g:
C = p/t/k*6/s*3/m/n*4
V = a*4/i*2/u

Which means that [k] is six times more common, [s] is three times and so on.

Originally, that's what I did but for some reason putting something like p/t/k*6/s*3/m/n*4 comes back with an error claiming you've weighted k with 634...
