Not sure how to gloss ära. It's a negative imperative adverb. "part" is obviously the partitive case.

It doesn't surprise me that some English speakers would actually use this, but after at least 13 or so years of almost daily exposure to English, I have yet to hear or read this anywhere. How about 'don't death me!', then?

Anyway, in Swedish, I only use 'döda' jokingly in 'JAG TRODDE ATT H@N SKULLE DÖDA MIG!' ('I thought [s]he was going to kill me!', like when someone does something very ordinary, like handing me a pencil).


But if this is Estonian (which the 'mind' now makes very clear to me), what was that other Uralic one grouped together with Finnish and Hungarian before (that had 'ala' for Finnish 'älä' and Estonian 'ära')? :(

There are a couple different ways to form imperatives in Turkish, but you'd want to use the polite form in this case, I think. d:

I seem to recall saying this somewhere before but the imperative is formed with the adverb "presently". This used to be how the present tense was formed, but in modern times, it generally became ommited, thus when it is used it seems more forceful.

And to me 'dräpa' sounds a bit ridiculous . It's a cool word but... it sounds kinda forced to my ears. And the word order in 'Icke dräp mig!' is killing me (heh-heh), even if I ignore the use of 'ej' and (especially) 'icke'. Well, each to his own I guess .
