C.L. Deſſoulavy in his "ƿord-book of ðe Engliſh Tongue"

gives "(ſheep)fold" for church (?!)
and gives "þoroughfare, lane and paþ" for ſtreet, beyond all ðat ƿe have ſaid.

Greek/Grick/Gric has been in ðe Engliſh Tongue at leaſt as long as
church. Yet Anglish Moot shows ðese ƿords, alone and in bindings to such end.

Hafronska's ƿordhoard noots eyhafskur for Greek, ƿhich, if I bring it rightly to mind, means ſomeþing like "ſea-Iſle" or "ſea-Eylander".

Go and ſee it at:

I have a dictionary that lists "grutten" as "past participle of greet".
(Sorry, I'm not writing in Anglish; just about it.)

Dear Ralph:

Tread nimbly! I was not there when the First-Dutch took *kirkja from the Sea-Eylanders.
Neither were you, I ween. Without witnesses, who knows for sooth?

Thine and mine are thought-ordeals only.

Further, I benooted google with "κυριακη δομος", also "κυριακη οικια". I get no hits with true byspells (in writings) from the Sea-Eylanders themselves. The only hits I got were lodestars for the sake of Sea-Eylanders bequeathing this wording to the First-Dutch: kind of round-robin. But, to make at hitting the bullseye:WHOM first did the Sea-Eylanders meet? Well, they might first have met the Goths. For sooth, the Goths TRULY took their word for *church* from the Sea-Eylanders: "aikklesjo" = εκκλησια (?!). A search in Biola Unbound Good Book
makes an almost one-to-one reckoning of this with each finding. Sadly, "κυριακ" comes up nowhere whilst searching for it in the Good Book in Sea-Eylander hand.

It seems that the wording "κυριακη οικια" only stands for the sake of bringing forth *church*, then, and truly was not on the tongues of elder Sea-Eylanders.

Still, it is a thought-ordeal only.

Of ðe Oðer Ƿorlds in ðe heavens, I like Tiƿ moſt. It is ſmaller ðan Earth, but bigger ðan ðe Moon. It is ƿell knoƿn as ðe Red Ƿorld, for it is buried in ſƿirling reddiſh duſt and ſhifting ſands of rust. Tiƿ is not ðe kind of ƿorld to raiſe your kids. For ſooþ, it's cold as hell. I saw "Forethought" today. I liked it well enough. The tale was much like unto "Elsewight", but with new twists. I was dumbstruck that Ridley Scott put Schleicher's (Ewe and Horses) tale into it. Wonderful! I want not to give too much away.

Back to the Outer Ƿorlds of the Heavens, I have seen sooþly keen likenesses of ðe Moon ȝclept Ettin. Beyond the tƿinkling icy rings of great Freyr, ðis moon also has the kenning of Einherjar. It is a ƿonderfully grim, rouȝ ƿorldling. It has such þick clouds and ƿelkins, for ȝears ƿe hardly knew it at all. But ƕat a ƿonderful sƿettling beloƿ! Ðe heavens of Ettin are full of firedamp (1 chark: 4 waterstuff ). It seems to make ðe sky all gloomy red like blood. And ðe stones and hills and fells are all of ice, frozen cold. But no kindling nor fires here, or Uff! Burning and burnt!
And ðe best ƿonder of all; Ettin has seas and rivers of floƿing firedamp! Almost like the Earþ, but so outlandishly elseƕere.Ƕat a dank, chilly ȝet spell-binding moon.
Ƕen can ƿe go þiðer?

From its innermost wanderer to its outermost wanderer (Earth or Midgard would be third out of eight), how are clept wanderers in the sunnish setup? (I assume Þunor is the biggest? Odin should be innermost? Then Freya or Frigga? You've already got Tiw fourth; next would be Þunor. I don't know about the remaining three.)

How are clept the dwarven wanderers (if there are more than one)?

Some of the wanderers have moons; some of those moons have names. How are clept these yclept moons, and which wanderers do they follow?

Some of the tiny-wanderers ("planetesimals") also have names. How are those clept?

Some hairy stars ("stars" with combs or manes) return. How are clept the returning hairy stars in the sunnish setup?

So, let's see ðen. Ƿe have ðe sun. And ðe little world ðat embgoes first ƿould be Ƿoden/Ƿeden. Next ƿould be Freyja or Friȝȝa, or maȝbe Fry (ƕichever is more lovely), ðouȝ my þouȝt ƿould be to clep ðe ƿorld Hell.
Next comes Earþ ƿiþ her dƿarven ƿanderer (CLASSIC! [+1] ) ðe Moon.
Tiƿ comes fourth, ƿiþ tƿo soothly dƿarven moons Friȝt and Aƿe.

Þur/Þor comes ƿell later, after ƿe ƿade þrouȝ ðe belt of [worldlets] starlets [BTǷ - I sunk so many fourþers into ðe game Starlets, ƕen I ƿas ȝoung [B)] And, as I saȝed, Ettin or Einerjar is his biggest moon, not so dƿarf at all.

Later comes Frey, ƿreaðed ƿiþ his icy rings.

For ðe latter þree Ƿorlds, and ðe names of ðe oðer moons of ðese Great Loft-Ƿorlds, maȝhap see ƕat ðe Anglish Moot saȝeþ.

As for {comet}; a hairy star is as good as a tail-star to me.
