I can actually think of a pretty good reason why they wouldn't find high heels appealing (not just that they happened to never develop them), but let's see what Kets's own thoughts are first.

Ah, I was going to refer to the theory that high heels are popular because they cause the spine to arch in a way that simulates a mating position when the female is down on all fours, called "Lardosis" IIRC. They reproduce by scissoring so it wouldn't make any sense for them to find that particular posture to be sexually appealing.

What? That's... special.

Heels are nice though. Toning, and sexy. Plus, they make one walk more ergonomically correctly. Well, I guess run, anyway. But the position of the foot it better for that. Either way, that theory sounds suspect.

*shrugs*

I don't find heels sexy, but then again I don't find much of anything sexy. So men (or Asanias) finding simulated lardosis sexy sounded plausible to me. Oh well.

While on that note...

I dunno about you, but this isn't particularly why I find heels to be attractive.

Well of course the hypothesis is not that that's what you consciously think; That's not what evolutionary psychology is about. When you taste a chocolate bar you don't think "Hey, the fat reserves I can make from this will come in handy in an emergency" you think "Mmm, chocolate!"

Actually,
Spoiler:
I always assumed the reason I thought high heels were attractive was because I have a foot fetish
But I guess you may be right.

I can't be bothered making an account for that thing, so...

No, because they first happened upon humans in the late 19th century, causing them to also get soccer and cricket. Why baseball became more popular than the other two, nobody has yet figured out.
That still doesn't explain why they didn't take anything from other countries.
Oh and by the way - Cricket and FOOTBALL (not SOCCER dammit) are ENGLISH games.
