I got bored and wrote this letter in a conlang from a project from many, many years ago. As such I made some of it up as I was going along, but whatever.

I started my (almost) first D&D campaign today with a friend from work, and some other folks who he's known for ages. 'Twas a lot of fun, and just as deliciously nerdy as I expected it to be. Aaaaaanyway, I used a super-hero creator to do a somewhat decent facsimile of what my character looked like in my head:
He's a Satyr Warlock (with an Archfey Patron and Blade Pact). So far he's pretty fun.

Also, for those curious, I used this handy thing to create him: http://www.heromachine.com/heromachine-3-lab/ (And a few small edits in Photoshop to fix his horns.)

Today, April 14, is National Youth Rights Day in the U.S. To celebrate, I put together an essay at my website titled "Ten Reasons to Support the Youth Rights Movement".

Very impressed by all the creativity since my 66th birthday (2/6/18) and maybe b4 as well!

I remember a discussion about Warhammer a while back (some years now, I think) where the hobby was disparaged pretty strongly... naturally, I've taken it back up! :D
