I’m the part of the bird that’s not in the sky.
I can swim in the ocean and yet remain dry.

Feet or nothing; either on account of the grease or because no part is flying up in the sky when the duck is swimming!

Feet makes sense. They can be dry because they have no feathers, and they are tucked under a duck’s feathers, out of sight, when flying.
Dacuhere bêo þös Fïce enjos?

I sing a rune that you can get:
I sing sweeter than any bird
I teach songbird to sing
Mighty tree am I, no roots from me!
I breathe without breath
I sing without word
Hands made me, hands guide me
Thy breath may be my soul.
A Daine riddle, if that helps any.
Also, should note the carats here mark the heavy syllables of poetic foot length, not, er, ordinary vowel length, which don't always coincide with metrical length. For the most part, spondees and dactyls, with an occasional breve.
And in good Daine fashion, the answer to the riddle is actually spelled out in the riddle itself.

Extra credit if you can name the kind of flute. (All will bow and offer earthly worship if you can get close to the Querannaran word for this kind of flute...)

I don't know at all.
I'm going to need some time to translate my riddle. You guys can continue on with determining what kind of flute it is if you want.
