According to wiktionary, the German word is a loan from Italian, which itself is from Old French estival, further etymology unknown.
Wipe the glass. This is the usual way to start, even in the days, day and night, only a happy one.

In Itlani:

"Dini zhoyit vesetan eynád zhanyira!"
(In my boot snake find-present-passive-it.")

Most Itlani verbs have a passive form.

"Eynadova dini zhoyit vesetan zhanyavu." (I found a snake in my boot.")
"Eynád dini zhoyit vesetan zhanyira." (A snake is found in my boot.")

"A rope-animal is in my paw-cover"
A hard one to render in Commonthroat as yinrih don't wear shoes or know what snakes are.

Also relevant.

Maybe a scaly worm? Worms are basically an evolutionary mainstay.
