Scratch's sketchpad

Hello conlangers of the CBB !!
I don't post a ton here, especially about my conlangs, but Arayaz encouraged me to make a scratchpad so here it is!
If you don't know me, my name is Sketch, I make languages sometimes.

I'm calling this Scratch's sketchpad because its funny.

My current biggest conlanging projects are Tyuns, Conlang Year, an unnamed conworld, and an unnamed collablang for Arayaz's conworld.

Tyuns is a collaborative conlanging and worldbuilding game on discord. I can't say much because of spoilers but it's very cool and you should join if you like those kinds of things.

Conlang Year is a yearlong conlanging challenge/activity created by Jessie Peterson. For my conlang year I created Awloya, which is the ancestor to Olwöa and eventually others. Olwöa is spoken by anthropomorphic bee-like creatures called the Awlo (In Owlöa, this word is Aulwo, but it refers more generally to the inhabitants of the region in which they live).

The conworld contains several languages. Hɛlcɛso, 'ai'u, and Tsjàta. My older languages Vuisi and its ancestor Vwissin are a part of this world as well, but they are years old and very scrapped. Though I may revive them in the future. This world also has a magical substance called the glimmer, which I'll explain in future posts.

The collablang with Arayaz is a part of her conworld, so go check out her scratchpad for more on that world.

Ok that's all for now!
If I don't post more within a week Arayaz has my permission to yell at me

I see 3,201 topics in the Conlangs subforum, not 3,200...

Weird. I still have 3,200.

For the 4th time in two years (give or take), I have remade Northlang. Each version of Northlang has been spoken in the northern continent of my first conworld, hence the name. This conworld is likely to be redesigned in the future; the name is no more than a title which connects it to its predecessors. The previous Northlang, Hɛlcɛso, was the first of my conlangs which I feel holds up to any serious critique. Even now I still quite like Hɛlcɛso, and it is very dear to my heart. However, it falls short of my more recent projects in terms of quality, so I've decided to rework it. Northlang V4, as it will be called until it receives a proper name, will follow in the footsteps of Hɛlcɛso, drawing inspiration from its finer aspects, while replacing the more lackluster ones. This time around, I'm beginning with Northlang V4's protolong (Hɛlcɛso was meant to be a protolang, however I never got around to making its descendants). This protolang will also serve as the ancestor for my eventual remake of Vwissin, a far older relative of the Northlangs.

As is typical, we will begin with the phonology:
/m n nʲ ŋ~ɴ/ *m *n *ñ *g
/p pʰ t tʰ tʲ tʲʰ k kʰ q qʰ/ *p *ṗ *t *ṭ *ty *ṭy *k *ḳ *q *q̇
/θ s sʲ x X/ *z *s *sy *h *ḥ
/r rʲ/ *r *ry

/i u a/ *i *u *a

This phonology shares several traits with Hɛlcɛso: a series of palato-alveolars, a series of uvulars, and a lack of voiced stops.

I have evolved Northlang V4 from this, however I would like to get a post out before I go to sleep and I do not have the energy to write for any longer. Expect V4's phonology and sound changes tomorrow.
