British Romance Language Collablang
Now, I know that not a lot of people in the conlanging community like romlangs since they're done often, but why don't we try doing a collab on the creation of an Britanno-Romance language akin to Brithenig and Britainese? Given that there weren't as many speakers of British Vulgar Latin as there were speakers of Brittonic languages in the British Isles, let's assume that in the timeline where this language exists, most of Roman Britannia's residents were Latinized before the Romans lost control of Britannia in 410 CE. Questions in this collab will be posted every one to three days.
1) Will we be following the Spezia-Rimini line?
a) Yes. This will be a western Romance language.
b) No. This will be a language that isn't a Western or Eastern Romance language, but an outlier like Sardinian.
c) Other
2) How will the name of this language be derived?
a) From Latin Britannicus. (Derived in the same manner as Asturian arábicu)
b) From Latin *Britanniēnsis. (Derived in the same manner as Portuguese português and French français)
c) From Latin *Britanniolus. (Derived in the same manner as Spanish español)
d) From Latin *Britannicus. (Derived in the same manner as Romanian românesc and Brithenig brithenig)
e) From Latin *Brittaniotem (Derived in the same manner as English Istriot and Vegliot) - Proposed by Ælfwine
f) Other
3) What will be the political situation in Great Britain?
a) Divided into multiple Brittonic and Romano-British kingdoms, with no central government uniting them together.
b) Split into two kingdoms, a northern one and a southern one, both of which would take up about as much space as Roman Britain.
c) Same as B, except Wales is its own kingdom.
d) Same as B, except Wales is split into multiple independent kingdoms.
e) Same as A, except Wales is united under a single kingdom.
f) All of Modern-Day England and Wales are united.
g) Other
4) Will this language have Brittonic loanwords?
a) Yes.
b) No.
Voting ends tonight at 21:00 EDT or 01:00 UTC.

NB: it's very odd that a language would adopt Old English style changes before Old English existed? Although I guess it can be explained as a coincidence.
